Juventus agree deal with Atalanta for Gabbiadini
The Bianconeri have raised their offer for co-ownership of the striker to €3.8 million and also made Australia international James Troisi part of the package
Juventus have agreed a deal with Atalanta over the signing of Manolo Gabbiadini, who the Bianconeri plan to loan to Bologna for a season,
The Turin club have been tracking the Italy Under-21 international for some time, but have been forced into action by Udinese's sudden interest in the highly-rated forward.
Indeed, Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici spent all of Wednesday thrashing out a player-plus-cash agreement with Atalanta that will see the Old Lady pay approximately €3.8 million for co-ownership of Gabbiadini and hand over Australia international James Troisi, who spent last season with Turkish outfit Kayserispor, to the Orobici.
Once the deal is finalised, the Serie A champions will honour a long-standing agreement with Bologna to send the player to the Dall'Ara for a year. Juve also intend to loan the Rossoblu right-back Marco Motta, who is deemed surplus to requirements by coach Antonio Conte.
In addition, Bologna sporting director Roberto Zanzi raised the possibility of taking Simone Padoin off the Bianconeri's hands for the upcoming season during talks with Paratici on Wednesday, but the midfielder could also be used as makeweight in any potential move for Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic.
While Juve will have little problem finding potential suitors for Padoin, they are still having great difficulty in drumming up interest in either Vincenzo Iaquinta or Jorge Martinez.
Nobody is interested in signing the pair outright. Consequently, the Bianconeri are now ready to cancel Iaquinta's contract and offering to contribute towards Martinez's wages should anyone be willing to take the Uruguayan on loan.

Verratti called up by Pescara
Pescara have thrown doubt over Marco Verratti’s proposed transfer to Paris Saint-Germain by including him in their pre-season training squad.
The 19-year-old was thought on the verge of completing a €14m move to the French runners-up, but talks look to have stalled in recent days, with his agent’s hint that it may not go through the most recent development.
With Verratti’s inclusion in Pescara’s pre-season training squad confirmed today, speculation could now invite a possible return to talks with Juventus and Napoli, who have both previously had bids for the midfielder turned down.
Pescara begin pre-season this week in preparation for their first season in Serie A for 20 years.
