Agent reveals Torino, Fiorentina interest for Juventus midfieder Pazienza
The agent of Michele Pazienza admits interest is arriving for the Juventus midfielder.

Pazienza is considering a move away from Turin this summer.

“Juventus are working on player sales and we should hear some news soon,” Vincenzo D’Ippolito told Il Sussidiario.

“I can confirm that Torino and Fiorentina are the sides who have made the most notable moves for the player.

“Who has the advantage? I would say Toro because they have already opened a negotiation with Juventus.”

Juventus GM Marotta: Jovetic would be great addition

Juventus GM Beppe Marotta admits interest in Fiorentina attacker Stevan Jovetic.

Marotta says Jovetic would be a welcome signing at Juve.

“Overall we have made available to Conte a good squad of players, we are happy with the new arrivals, but at this stage we are also considering other market opportunities,” Marotta told Sky Sport 24.

“I do not think that these will be ‘perfect’ purchases, but we can do well with a different idea and by operating differently.

“Jovetic? He’s a player at Fiorentina that we like, whose profile responds to what we are looking out for, for our objectives, but from here we will talk about transfers as they happen.

“That’s all I can say out of respect for Fiorentina.”

Juve Siap Bawa Gaston

klub top Eropa.

No moves for Quagliarella & Gilardino
Fabio Quagliarella of Juventus and Alberto Gilardino of Genoa will not be on the move this summer, says agent Giuseppe Bozzo.

The players’ representative spoke to Sport Italia in an effort to calm speculation around the duo’s future.

“They’re some of the best attackers in Serie A,” noted Bozzo. “And it is normal that they’re liked both in Italy and abroad.

“However, the two players are not moving.”

Quagliarella has struggled to become a mainstay in Juventus’ starting XI following injury in January 2011. The YouTube sensation managed a mere 23 League appearances last season – less than Mirko Vucinic and Alessandro Matri – and scored just four goals all campaign.

Bozzo’s words seem to confirm that the player will not leave the Old Lady, even if a world class attacker were brought into the side, as is largely rumoured.

Asamoah happy with Juve start
Kwadwo Asamoah is happy after making his debut for Juventus in Tuesday’s 7-1 friendly win over Aygreville.

The midfielder moved to Turin this summer after a co-ownership deal was done with Udinese for his signature.

“It was a good test,” the 23-year-old told Sky Sport Italia. “I’ve instantly settled in well with my new teammates. This first week of training has been excellent and I’m happy to be here.”

After four years in Udine, the Ghanaian international is aware that he’s been given a massive opportunity by the Old Lady.

“This is a very important step for my career,” continued the man born in Accra.

“Everyone knows how important it is to play in this shirt. We are talking about the champions of Italy and I’ll give my best for these colours.”

Fulham’s ‘concrete’ Iaquinta interest
The representative of Vincenzo Iaquinta has confirmed Fulham’s interest in the available Juventus striker.

The forward has been told to find a new club by the Old Lady given that his contract in Turin will expire next June.

“We are verifying a number of different options for Iaquinta in Italy, but especially in England,” Andrea D’Amico told Calcio Sport 24.

“Fulham? That is a concrete possibility.”

The 32-year-old didn’t play a single minute for the Bianconeri in 2011-12 and was sent out on loan to Cesena in January.

The former Udinese player has had an injury plagued last 24 months and he only managed one goal in seven games for the Seahorses last term.

Vidal committed to Juventus
Arturo Vidal has shrugged away interest from other clubs by making it clear he wants to continue winning with Juventus.

Speaking from Châtillon, where the Old Lady are in the midst of pre-season training camp, Vidal archived previous links with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

“The interest of other prestigious teams? I am not interested,” the 25-year-old stated. “I am happy at Juventus.

“I always give my all for the squad I represent – I put my heart out on the field. Because of this I believe the fans appreciate me more and to hear that the people love me is much appreciated.”

The Chilean midfielder, who joined Juventus from German club Bayer Leverkusen last summer for €10.5m, seems to have overcome his troubling groin injury and is determined to start off the new season with a win.

“The problems which affected me at the end of last season have passed,” the former Colo-Colo man stated. “I am very well, but a little tired. These days we are working hard to be ready for the new season.”

Juventus won the Scudetto last season with an unbeaten campaign and they are highly fancied to retain their title.

“They say we’re favourites because we won last year. We are further improved this year and know that we are strong, but we need to show this on the field and not by talking.

“We know we face a difficult season, in which there will be plenty of competition, and so we are working hard to be fully prepared.”

Lastly, Vidal touched on the much talked about Super Cup Final against Napoli.

“We have not forgotten the defeat in the Italian Cup and against Napoli we now want to get our revenge.”

Juventus play Napoli in the Italian Super Cup on the 11 August in Beijing, China, in the annual season opener between the League champions and Italian Cup winners.

Marotta: €30m for Jo-Jo difficult
Fiorentina’s €30m price-tag put on Stevan Jovetic’s head has had the desired effect as Beppe Marotta distances Juventus from a potential deal.

Marotta yesterday named the 22-year-old as an ideal player for the Bianconeri, prompting La Viola’s assessment of the situation this morning.

When asked of the price the Turin side have been publicly quoted, Marotta looked to clarify the Old Lady’s position.

“Do Juve have €30m for Jovetic? It’s a big request,” reflected the dg to Tuttomercatoweb.com.

“Everyone is free to determine the price they want. It’s a legitimate right, but we have not entered into negotiations with Fiorentina. €30m is difficult and for now we will not talk about it.

“The fans like Robin Van Persie? You have to have dreams and ambitions, but then we must also deal with the reality of the facts. We know what we are doing and that is the most important thing.”
